Privacy Policy

PracticeVue is a financial forecasting tool for therapy practices, currently offered as an invite-only pilot. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is intentionally short — we collect little, and we do very few things with it.

What we collect

Account information. Your name and email address, provided when you sign in through our authentication provider, WorkOS.

Practice financial data. The forecasting inputs you enter or import: staffing and compensation assumptions, service line rates, payer mix, overhead costs, and financial actuals (for example, from QuickBooks exports).

No patient information. PracticeVue is designed so that no patient or client health information (PHI) is collected or stored. The app works with practice-level financial aggregates only. Please do not enter patient-identifying information anywhere in the app.

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose: providing the forecasting service to you. That means authenticating you, computing and displaying your forecasts, and supporting you during the pilot.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers listed below, and only to the extent needed to run the service.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Render in the United States, accessible only to your account.

Service providers

• Render — application and database hosting (US).
• WorkOS — sign-in and authentication. WorkOS processes your email and name to log you in.
• Sentry — error tracking, so we can fix problems quickly. Error reports are configured to exclude your financial data.
• QuickBooks Online (forthcoming) — an optional integration to import your accounting actuals. Connection tokens will be stored encrypted, and the integration only reads the accounting data needed for forecasting.

Your data is yours

Your practice owns its data. At any time you may request a full export of your data, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email us and we will do it promptly.

The pilot caveat

PracticeVue is an invite-only pilot. As the product matures, this policy may change — if it does, we will update the effective date above and notify pilot participants by email before material changes take effect.
